What’s the difference between an apostille and legalisation?
An apostille is a simplified certification recognised by countries in the Hague Convention; legalisation is the more involved process required by countries outside it, usually via the destination country’s consulate. We’ll confirm which one your document needs before starting.
Do you apostille the original document or the translation?
Usually the original — check with the receiving institution, since some processes require the apostille on the translation, or on both. Tell us and we’ll confirm the right sequence.
Why are official fees billed separately?
The issuing offices set those fees, and they vary by document and destination country — we bill them at cost, with our €95 fee covering the handling only.
