05 What clients say

What clients say

"I needed my Irish birth certificate translated for the Registro Civil and had already been burned once by a translation that came back without a valid stamp. This one was accepted first time, no follow-up questions."

Accepted, or we fix it. If a Spanish authority or the receiving institution rejects a sworn or certified translation of ours on formal grounds, we correct and re-issue it at no cost.

06 FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What makes a translation "sworn" rather than just translated?

A sworn translation is signed and stamped by a translator listed on the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ (MAEC) register of sworn translators-interpreters. That signature and stamp make it a legal instrument a Spanish authority can accept — not the wording alone.

Will extranjería or the Registro Civil accept a digital PDF, or do I need paper?

Most Spanish authorities accept a signed digital PDF with the translator’s electronic stamp. Some notaries, foreign consulates and specific procedures still ask for a posted original — check with the receiving office, or add the printed copy at checkout if you’re unsure.

What happens if the translation is rejected?

If a Spanish authority or the receiving institution rejects it on formal grounds — the stamp, the signature, the format — we correct and re-issue it at no charge. That’s the guarantee, and it applies specifically to this service.

Do you also handle apostille or legalisation?

We can manage submission for you as a separate add-on (Apostille & legalisation handling, €95 + official fees). It’s a different step from the sworn translation itself, priced separately because the official fees vary by document.

How fast is Express, and what does it cost?

24 hours from a confirmed order, at +50% of the standard price. Confirmed means we’ve received the source document and any required clarifications — the clock starts there, not at checkout.
